[linux-users:103760] サーバーの突然のリブートについて

小川と申します。linux-usersメーリングリストに初めて投稿させて頂きます。よろしくお願いします。

管理しているサーバーの/var/log/messageを確認していたところ、突然再起動がかかっているログを見つけました。この現象は他のマシンにても過去に一度経験しておりますが、そのときのログの記録は残しておりませんでした。

マシンの型番
DELL PW750

カーネルのバージョンは
uname -a
Linux 205 2.4.18-5smp #1 SMP Thu Sep 26 22:26:54 JST 2002 i686 unknown


OS
TurboLinux8

です。


下記ログを確認したところ深夜1時17分にリブートがかかってると思います。
それ以前のログを確認したところ、怪しいログインやエラーは出力されていなかった為、

私の知識では「サーバーが突然リブートした」と説明することしかできません。
この様な現象を経験されたことがあるかた、対処法などをアドバイスいただければと思います。

また、私はこの現象の確認に/var/log/messageしか確認しておりませんが、なにか他に確認をすべきところがあればご指摘いただければと思います。

私自身、この現象をまったく理解できていないため、曖昧な質問となってしまい、申し訳ございません。
